Can you download Wii powersaves to an SD card an use them?

Do you have to download the wii powersave software to use them? I heard that the package just comes with a 512mb SD card pre-programed with sevral saves and I have a 2G SD card. could you give me a link to where I can get it too?

Can you download Wii powersaves to an SD card an use them?
I'm not sure but I think that just a reagular SD card can't use powersaves. So you have to buy the 512mb Powersave card to do that. And I'm sure in the instructions to that they will give you a website where you can download more of them.
Reply:You can use any Wii SanDisk memory card to use powersaves. You just have to have anything that will read the SanDisk on your computer. Then just find a save that's from your region and put it in the folder that matches your game. Report Abuse

Is it possible to transfer songs from Itunes to an SD Memory Card?

Thanks for the help,

I recently bought a LG Choclate phone, and i want to transfer my 2-3 GB collection of songs over to that, from itunes. I have a 4gb SD card compatible with the phone, any way to transfer the songs from one to another?

Is it possible to transfer songs from Itunes to an SD Memory Card?
Easy (hopefully). Assuming the LG chocolate phone plays the same format of audio file as you have in your itunes, just get a SD card reader (often included in some premade HP or dell laptops and desktops, built-in to digital cameras that use SD cards and have a cable to connect to your pc, etc), hook up the SD reader to your pc, put in the SD card, and fill it up by dragging and dropping the files from your itunes window to your window for your SD card (you can open it up as a drive in my computer). Your phone might not read from the root directory of the card, in which case that might not work, but if it does, presto, if not, have fun scrounging through forums, that's what I had to do to get my own ringtones on my verizon razr.

How do I transfer music onto my SD card?

I want to have customizable tracks for Excite Truck, I always have to mute out the in game sounds to play Hendrix on my computer. Is there another way to get music on my Wii? My computer has no SD card drive.

How do I transfer music onto my SD card?
To transfer music to the SD card you will need to use a card reader that will simply plug into your usb port. Once the card is in the reader the computer will recognize it as a drive. Simply go to my computer and click on it. Click on the SD card (which should show up here once connected) and now you can drag and drop your music onto the SD card.
Reply:I don't really know anything about nintendo or whatever but if you want to add music to your sd card. (it has to be pretty big) Use a card reader. You can get them at walmart for like $10-15. Plug that into your usb and save your music to your sd. (like saving you music to a floppy or another disc) just select your card reader as the device that you wish to transfer it to. Hope this helps.
Reply:Do you have Itunes or othe music players on your computer. If you do, good, And if you have a SD slot on your computer, slide it on in there and open the SD card file- Or in my computer it is called (removable disk J). After that you can open both itunes or whatever you have and your SD card file, Click and drag the music to the SD card and, Wella, Ya have it. And/or If you have an Ipod or Mp3 put a SD mini and I think The Wii will take mini's but to be sur us the maual.

Hope I helped.

What is expandable memory, SD card and other memory cards in Mobiles? What is there advantage?

some manufacturers (i.e. motorola) allow the memory "chip" to be removed so you can put in a larger capacity chip- from Mb to Gb (megabytes to gigabytes). cell phones usually have memory sharing so u can store dozens of songs, tele numbers, pics, etc. and still have room for more.

Why my 2GB SD card no longer works in my digital camera?

I have a Konica Minolta digital camera. My 2GB sd card which is probably about 6 months old, used to work in my camera, but now it just says "Unable to use card." BUT the card still works on other card readers, such as my printer. And no, the disk lock is not on.

I tried another 2GB card in my camera, and it works fine. Why can't my camera read that SD card? Does anyone have any insightful answers or solutions to my problem?

format the card in the camera
Reply:Like others have mentioned reformat the card in your camera.

If your camera was writing to the card and the battery went dead it will cause a write failure and the end result will be the camera is unable to read the card. Contact customer support you might be able to return the card and they will fix it or replace it. Lexar did this for one of my cards. Sandisk was another story, they SUCK!!!! I will never purchase or use their products.
Reply:First check the metal contacts on the card ... make sure they are clean.

If you formatted the card using your computer (especially a Mac) you may have destroyed the card. This happened to me when a friend did that to a 2GB card of mine.

ONLY format using the cameras format feature.
Reply:You may have accidentally formatted it using a format that is not recognized by the camera. Some cameras have their own format so using your camera, go to the Menu or settings and look for the FORMAT feature. If you cannot find it, look for it in your camera's manual.
