How do I get my computer to read SD cards?

I'm trying to load my SD card via either my Epson Stylus printer or my Canon PowerSot. I don't want to get pictures or info off of the card, but rather I want to load information such as mp3s and other files so I can transfer and read them on my treo 650. Please advise me how I can do this. I'm running a G4 Powerbook. Thanks.

Well, if you had a SD card reader, your computer might read SD cards.
Reply:you will proably have to get a card reader that plugs into a USB port. they arent too expensive, and come in handy. many of them read multiple types of cards.

heres a link to one at best buy, only 15 bucks. :

Reply:No idea!
Reply:SIMPLE..........IF UR NOT CHEAP GO TO AN ELECTRIC STORE AND ASK 4 ONE SD CARD READER ITS NOT EXPENSIVE
Reply:I like the Sandisk USB flash memory card reader devices at www.sandisk.com. Once you get the card and reader connected properly to your computer, the card appears just like an ordinary hard disk. It's possible that the Treo requires some specialized format, but I doubt it.
Reply:you need a card reader . its in a format your computer cant pick up.
