SD cards less power consumption?

There are SD cards currently on the market which saids less power consumption. If my camera can only last 30 minutes recording with a 256mb camera. Approximately how much longer can I record with 256mb that consume less power?

Turn down the brightness on your screen. Also, stop reviewing every picture every time. Set the camera to the shortest review time possible. The less frequently you use your screen, the longer your batteries will last.





If it's a video camera, dim the screen as much as possible, and do as little zoom/tricky stuff as you can.





I can't see the SD card eating up so much power that your batteries dies in 30 minutes. That's ridiculous.
