Is is possible to secure data on SD Cards without encrypting the data? Encryption is too slow.?

I would like to encrypt data on my SD cards, which I use in palm and treo devices, but I do not want to encrypt the data. I would really like to be able to password protect folders on the cards so that they cannot easily be accessed except on my device with my password.

From what I interpret your question, you want to be able to secure access to your data on the Pal, without actually encrypting it....





The answer to this is to use some software for the palm which can secure ur data... Google it and download the software. There are actually a lot of options in the S/W, so that they can make the contents of the folder you want visible only thru that S/W and not thru the normal course... The access to the S/W is password protected so only u will be able to access it.





So just Google correctly and u'll find a software, am sure!
