My (DV-DA1-VP) says my SD cards are write-protected, and it will still record to memory. Help!?

The tabs are all in the correct position, and I have tried cleaning the contacts on the SD Cards with Isopropyl alcohol.


I have only had the camera for 6 months, and non of my other cameras have ever had this problem.


I have also tried dust blasters, and multiple SD Cards from multiple companies, with varying memory sizes.


It still works in all other aspects, even as a webcam.


VuPoint will not even respond to my emails.

Could you have progammed your cam. without knowingly doing it, to stop pics being copied if you misplaced your card. Check out on the menu section
Reply:I guess I was obtuse...the camera will not write to any SD Card, only to memory. Even new SD Cards are listed as protected.

I can find no reference to that in the menu system, or in the user manual.
