My PDA takes a SD card, so I have a 2gb card already. I would like to keep with the same type of card for my new digital camera. I am interested in just a point and shoot. Any thoughts?
What type of 5.1 mp digital cameras take SD cards?
well, most cameras do take the sd card. Kodak and Hp take them. They are decent cameras and your not looking to break the bank for purchasing them. Most HP and Kodak are point and shoot and are easy to use. Sony uses memory stick pro duo, and most fuji ase the xd card. I believe that some samsung use the SD card as well. Just when your going to buy a camera, check the package, they should have it posted on the front as to what card it takes. If you are buying online or in the store, just ask the person, they should know.
Reply:the Nikon D50 model which is a great DSLR uses an SD card too.
look a this site for the Nikon D50 and you will see it's features including an SD card slot.
Reply:when you look for a camera make sure you pick one that uses sd me myself is using a pentax camera which uses sd card
Reply:Most Canon.
I actually work in a camera store! There's the S3I5, SD700, and the SD600 for starters. (they are all 6 MP).
The first 2 are around $599, and the last one $429.
