can i buy a cheap 1gig sd card for wii or wont it work?
Will any sd card work on wii, or only the licensed wii sd cards?
Yes, any standard format SD card will work with the Wii.
High capacity SD cards though (4GB and higher) will not work.
Reply:Yup. You can get a 1gb SD card from Radioshack for $15, or buy the Wii SD card for almost $30. I'd say it's a ripoff on Nintendo's part, but I guess they like all their accessories to match lol. It is the same colors as the Wii. :o)
