additonally, if they are different could i delete all the programming from one and write different programming with out massive failure.
Do all sd cards all use the same programing language. and if not what languages do they use?
SD cards are memory devices just like hard disks or RAM, they don't use any programming language. The only thing in common are their interface, including the number and function of their metal contacts. You can probably find specifications for this interface on technical web sites or in a patent.
