does anyone know of a certain sd card that is fast enough for readyboost? I am looking for one to use on my laptop. thanks

Yes, try SDHC or just plain SD Ultra will do. Some have read/write speeds up to 9 MB per second.
REMEMBER: NEVER USE FLASH DRIVES FOR READYBOOST. THEY ARE SLOWER THAN SD CARDS AND WILL ACTUALLY SLOW DOWN YOUR COMPUTER EVEN THOUGH THE MEMORY HAS BEEN INCREASED. However, you'll be able to run more programs. I still recommend page files.
