Every time I try to put all my pictures from my SD cards into my computer, the COM Surrogate thing pops up and it says it has stopped working. It's really annoying because when I access the folder with the pictures, the COM Surrogate pops up again. Any way to fix this?

This person reckoned it was caused by older versions of nero and divx that weren't fully vista compatible:
