I have the latest firmware 3 installed, Media player 9 recognises the SD card (which is 512mb) but when it starts to download, the message " an error has occurred" appears. I have checked the FAQ from the Philips site but there is solution to this.
How do I save music on the sd card in the Philips sa260/ SA261 mp3 player?
try putting your sd card straight into your pc and do it through my computer. if not, try through a digital camera
Reply:I have just spoken to Philips and they say to get the best functionality I would need to use Xp - for an oldish player????? Report Abuse
Reply:Make sure that you are not only adding the music files in the correct folder on the card but make sure you have the correct music formats. Go to your computer and locate the drive that the card is using (:E, :F etc) open it and locate the folder that holds your music files. Then Locate the folder on your computer that is holding all your music files. Now you simply drop and drag the music from the music folder into the music folder on the card.
