I have a SanDisk 2 GB SD Card. I'm planning to use it for my PDA (still waiting for the shop to get it in). My laptop (Toshiba Dyna Book CX1/214LDEW) has a SD slot, so I put the new SD card in. When I tried opening the disk, it said I had to format it. When I clicked on the option to format, a message popped up saying there was an error and can't format it. I put the card into my digital camera and was able to format it. However when I placed it back into my laptop, the same error occurred again...
How do you format a SD card on a computer to enable to use on other devices??

Reply:as far as i know, format can be done by deleting all files inside the card. so just go in the SD and delete anything in it, this is formatting!!!! am not very sure but this is what i normally do and if you think this guy doesnt know what the hell he is talkin about so sorry man i just tried to help u know .. nothing personal u know what i mean .. like this is what i do normally .. so yea..
