Why Have SD Memory Cards Crashed In Price......Picked One Up For £5 In Morrisons?
Because SD cards are old technology.

They have been superseded by XD cards and flash drives. This is what happens when technology progresses - the out of date stuff gets cheaper, because fewer people want it.

I mean, how much is a video recorder these days...??
Reply:Probably because micro SD cards have been released and those go up to 2Gb. They cost up to 30 pounds so the older normal SD cards have lost almost all their value.
Reply:this happends with everything rember when freeview boxs came out frist they would cost about £100 now you can pick one up for about £20
Reply:They are mass producing it, and from the trends they are going to dump all the mechanical Harddrives and switch to flash memory based drives computers, in the near future. Which essentially means the prices of Hard drive for 200G should come down to 200$ or less, its not in sight yet.

Does it help ?
