If this helps, the SD card is from my camera which is a Polariod t737 7MP Digital Camera.
How do I store pictures and videos from my SD card onto my computer?
Step 1) buy a USB 2.0 card reader that takes SD cards.
Step 2) plug it into your computer and allow it to be recognized.
Step 3) insert the SD card into the appropriate slot.
Step 4) Open the drive for the SD card on your computer's file management software (i.e.Windows Explorer).
Step 5) Copy and paste the files into your computer's hard drive.
Reply:Most important: get a card reader, and make sure it reads SD cards.
but depending on your computer,
once you plug in the card reader, and put in the card,
there might be a "program" that will help transfer and organize your pictures for you.
Reply:If your computer does not have a port for flash cards such as SD, XD, CF or Memory Stick... go out and purchase a card reader. They come in multiple type models (6in1, 12in1). Just about all of them support SD. They range in price from around 10-50 dollars. They pretty much all do the trick though. Most of them are plug in play so all you need to do is pop the SD card into the reader and plug the USB chord into the Computer and it will recognize it as a new drive. Once the new drive pops up in your "My Computer" screen, copy the files from the new drive onto your computer's drive (usually the C:\ drive).
